How to take a Shower? enjoy a fantastic shower

A well known woman’s magazine recently ran an article on How to Take a Shower (I’m not making this up). I never realized what a challenge this particular activity can be. Given the obvious need for an eHow on this topic, I selfishly rise to the occasion, and offer instruction to all women on the proper way to wash yourself down.

  1. Step 1

    ***Keep an Open Mind***

Yeah, I’m a man. But I have in fact showered with women and believe me, I carefully observed all the pertinent details.

  2. Step 2

    ***Run the Water***

You’ll have to turn the shower water on, and adjust the temperature. If you need detailed instruction on this, post a comment, and I’ll be happy to write another eHow.

  3. Step 3

    ***Step in Carefully***

Lift your foot up and over the rim of the shower, and step in.

  4. Step 4

    ***You Should be Naked***

Make sure you’re undressed. If not, make this Step 3, instead.

  5. Step 5

    ***Get Wet***

Standing under the shower water will get you wet. Turn around to get the other side. If you want to keep your hair dry, you’ll need one of those plastic cap things, but I don’t recommend them. They look ridiculous.

  6. Step 6

    ***Wash***

Get a nice soap and wash up. Careful when washing your feet, as they’ll be pretty slippery after.

  7. Step 7

    ***Wash Some More***

Some parts of the body feel nicer to wash than others. You’ll find the ones you like best. Go ahead. Soap up real good and wash away. What the heck…you’ve got all day.

  8. Step 8

    ***Mystery Part***

What women actually do with their hair in the shower remains a mystery to me, despite my extensive research. You’ll have to improvise.

  9. Step 9

    ***Rinse***

    Rinse.

  10. Step 10

    ***Dry***

Dry (this usually involves a towel).

  11. Step 11

    ***Research***

Still need more information? See the Resource links, directly below, including a link to the wonderful video from Allure magazine that promises to teach “new tricks for coming clean” in the shower. I believe it was written by a prominent showerologist. What more could you possibly need?

Of course, you may enjoy a fantastic shower, by using pumice on your calluses, conditioner on your hair, loofah-ing your elbows, moisturizing, shaving your legs and underarms, scrubbing off your face mask, answering the phone becuz your friends always wait until you’re in the shower….
